Refund Policy

Effective Date: May 15, 2025

Applies to: All services booked through Soni Diagnostic and MRI Center, whether online, via phone, or walk-in.

1. Cancellation Policy

  • Appointments may be canceled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without any cancellation charges.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a 20% cancellation fee.
  • No cancellations will be entertained after the test or scan has been conducted.

2. Refund Policy

  • Full refunds are processed only for:
    • Duplicate payments.
    • Machine malfunction or technician unavailability.
    • Cancellation made within the valid cancellation window.
  • Partial refunds will be issued when:
    • A patient undergoes only part of the test package due to medical/technical issues.
    • A bundled service is partly availed and the balance service is canceled for valid reasons.
  • Refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment within 7-10 business days.
  • Refunds will be processed and credited to the original mode of payment within 7-10 business days.

3. Rescheduling Policy

  • Rescheduling is allowed once, up to 12 hours before the appointment without any extra fee.
  • Rescheduling within 12 hours will be subject to availability and may be treated as a cancellation.
  • If the patient repeatedly reschedules or causes operational delays, the center reserves the right to refuse further slots.

4. No-Show Policy

  • If the patient fails to show up within 24 hours of the scheduled slot without notice, it will be considered a No-Show.
  • No refund will be granted in such cases.
  • Rescheduling after a No-Show will require full re-payment of service charges.

5. Report Delivery Policy

  • Report timelines:
    • MRI/CT: 24-48 hours
  • Delays may occur due to technical review, doctor availability, or emergencies. You will be informed via SMS or WhatsApp in such cases.
  • Soni Diagnostic is not liable for any medical consequences due to report delays unless caused by negligence.

6. Partial Refund Policy

  • If a bundled or package scan/test is only partially completed, we will issue a pro-rata refund based on:
    • Actual services rendered.
    • Market price of completed scans/tests.
  • Refund eligibility must be validated by the attending radiologist or technician.

7. Privacy Policy

  • We strictly follow data confidentiality protocols as per HIPAA and Indian IT laws.
  • Data collected (name, age, contact, health records) is used only for service fulfillment.
  • Your data will never be shared or sold to third parties without your permission.

8. Offers & Coupons Policy

  • Promotional offers are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • In case of cancellation of an offer-based service, the refund will be calculated based on discounted values, not MRP.
  • Coupons must be shown physically or via SMS/email to be honored at the center.

  • We aim to resolve any query within 3-5 working days.

10. Legal & Liability Disclaimer

  • All services are provided "as-is." While we strive for accuracy, Soni Diagnostic is not responsible for clinical interpretations made outside our center.
  • Our liability in any case will be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific service.
